Welcome to the EAPA of Central Arizona!

A message from Gary Zarchy- President of Central and Northern Arizona Chapter of the
International Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA)

A primary mission of the Central and Northern Arizona EAPA chapter is to educate and inform our members and fellow professionals of the important role of the Employee Assistance Professional. We are behavioral health professionals in a unique role to assist employees and their employers. We are therapists to our clients and consultants to the workplaces who employ them. We work on behalf of the client in many roles: as a provider of assessment, referral, and brief therapy as well as a liaison with human resources, management, labor, and other behavioral health professionals to assure the client receives the best possible care. We wish to return the client to his or her peak performance level at his or her place of employment, or to maintain that level if performance has not yet dropped.

Our meetings offer a positive atmosphere to network and obtain CEU's/Professional Development Hours, which frequently apply to licensure renewal for behavioral health professionals including: psychologists, counselors, social workers and marriage and family therapists. We offer a variety of exciting and knowledgeable speakers who present on current trends and areas of information in the employee assistance and behavioral health fields. Come and join us for our monthly meetings! Better yet, become a member of the EAPA Central and Northern Arizona Chapter! Please don't hesitate to contact me at gzarchy@aol.com with any questions. I am looking forward to speaking with you and seeing you at our next meeting.
